Abstract
A number of studies demonstrate the straight relationship between training and productivity in an organization: training corrects deficiencies and allows employees to face challenges in the performing of their tasks, motivating teams and serving as catalysts for action. However, there are several barriers imposed by traditional training, but mainly, the unsuitability of the courses to companies´ needs. We argue that training content should arise from real work scenarios within organizations. Therefore, the employees are the more obvious people to build this content. Moreover, collaboration is fundamental in this context. We present a proposal to design training content based on stories told by professionals within the organization and a groupware application that supports this.
