Abstract
In industrial applications, moving, swinging and vibration of the cameras are the main causes of blurred images. It is well know that the de-blurring process is seriously ill conditioned, and the ringing artifacts are always present in the restored images. In this paper, we study the characteristic of two deconvolution filters and analyze the origins of these ringing artifacts. Through the analysis, we find that these artifacts are caused by the amplifications at the corresponding frequencies. A method based on frequency domain is proposed in this paper to reduce the ringing by means of the weight matrix. The experimental results demonstrate effectiveness of our method.
