  • Abstract
    In this paper, the author introduces a current amplifier which uses a variable compliance voltage that provides the flexibility needed to cover a greater range of test environments for power system protection relays. This technology has the secondary advantage of being transformer-less-thus allowing a wider band frequency response ideal for testing modern and old relays
