The Application of Digital Teaching Portfolios and Blog Portfolios on Teacher Evaluation

Teacher evaluation has been practiced in other countries for many years, and Taiwan is also actively developing appropriate evaluation tools and methods in recent years. In this study, a design research method is adopted to develop an evaluative digital teaching portfolio which includes (1) developing a portfolio construct and grading standard that cover teaching and learning; (2) using the discipline domain to develop the standard; (3) promoting teachers´ professional development; (4) truthfully demonstrate the teaching environments; (5) digital presentation and management, (6) dynamic design of portfolio framework and combine them with a demonstrative / evaluative blog portfolio platform as a tool for teacher evaluation.
