Abstract
The performance of cooperative communication is rarely studied in the interference-limited wireless networks. In this paper, we aims to fulfill this gap and focus on an SINR-based selective relaying protocol. In particular, we aim to analyze the impact of interference on the performance of cooperative relaying. We carefully model the interference and derive the explicit expression of optimal threshold for SINR-based selective relaying. Furthermore, we provide explicit form for the average end-to-end BER of this cooperative protocol. Experimental results verify our arguments as well as the effectiveness of the proposed cooperative scheme.
