Abstract
A wavelet-based method is introduced to estimate the spatially and temporally local velocity of both activation and recovery wavefronts in epicardial potential distributions recorded by a sensor array. The method takes advantage of the space/time link inherent in wavefront propagation. It is tested on simulated idealized wavefronts and on recorded canine data
