  • Abstract
    This paper implements neuro-genetic intelligence for quick route rebuilding in MANET for improving the performance of the network. The various performance improvements are achieved by introducing the concept of artificial neural network (ANN) using back-propagation algorithm (BPA)in combination with genetic algorithm (GA) keeping the Ad Hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) as the basis. When there is termination of routes due to unpredicted movement of the mobile equipment in the network, the neuro-genetic intelligence rebuilds the network with the learnt weights. The intelligent method suggested appears to provide improved routing due to the integration of the of AODV, ANN and GA algorithm.
