Abstract
This paper deals with the evaluation of video stimulation scheme for sensorymotor rhythm based-Brain Computer Interface´s user training. To extract mu brainwave from raw EEG signal, two processing methods based on time domain and frequency domain are also evaluated. This experiment involves six participants (4 right handed and 2 left handed). The brainwave of the participant while imagining hand movement by the guidance of four different video stimulation is recorded by Emotiv wireless Electroencephalograph (EEG). Result shows that observation based video that gives the same observed image as the imagination that is instructed, gives the highest average mu wave desynchronization. Frequency domain extraction gives higher sensitivity in detecting the mu wave desynchronization.
