Abstract

Dwelling is one of the most important activities for human beings. Environmental landscapes of residential areas have become one of the most important factors in residential planning and designs as well as housing markets. Based on the trend of residential planning and designs, this paper analyzes the current problems encountered in residential planning and construction. This paper also explores how to design a residential landscape to meet human-centered requirements. Some points highlighted in this paper may be used as references in innovative designs of residential areas.
