  • Abstract
Freeway and urban road are two relatively independent and interdependent systems. To achieve the smooth connecting of freeways and urban roads is the first premise and guarantee of building a sustainable freeway-urban road system. Connected-way has a node with freeway and urban road respectively, the planning of the connection is how to determine the number of these types of nodes and the specific location. Based on the certain number of the connection, this paper proposes the modified gray relational analysis method to calculate the importance of the city entrance and determines the location of connected-way, thus completes the connected-way planning, and takes Jingmen city as a case to conduct the empirical study on the connection planning of freeways and urban roads.
