Abstract
It has been recognized from the earliest days of electric gun research, that pulsed power is critical for its successful development. Electric launcher concepts investigated over the last two decades include electromagnetic (EM) railguns and coil guns, and electrothermal and electrothermal-chemical launchers. Here, pulsed power supply considerations for EM launcher applications are examined by the author
