Abstract
The real and the imaginary components of the permittivity in the frequency range between 20 Hz and 1 MHz as well as the characteristics magnitudes of the partial discharge phenomenon have been measured on ceramic pellets of the type BiSrCaCuO. The last phenomenon on a piece of metal of the same geometry and dimensions has also been observed, in order to compare the behaviour of both kind of materials
