Abstract
In order to overcome the defect of error noise brought by the asymmetry of the error function and slower convergence of constant modulus algorithm (CMA), lognormal error function balanced multiwavelets transform blind equalization algorithm (MWTLCMA) is proposed. The proposed algorithm uses lognormal error function with characteristics of odd symmetry to reduce mean square error, and using balanced multiwavelets transform to improve the performance of convergence. Simulation tests with underwater acoustic channel indicate that the proposed algorithm has not only faster convergence rate but also less mean square error.
