  • Abstract
    Two types of ASVC, viz. multi-pulse ASVC and multi-PWM ASVC are considered for power transfer enhancement in a transmission corridor. Appropriate control systems for the two ASVCs are also proposed. Through detailed digital simulation, it is established that a significant increase in the power transfer capability is possible by the use of ASVC
