Research on scalability of database design

In this paper, device asset information management system for the device basic information in the design of the table to discuss the two kinds of scalable design of the structure of database tables: one is in a database table, add reserved field and design reserved for the field definition table resolved field properties set aside the definition of information and display information; the other is through the design element property sheet, to achieve higher scalability requirements. Paper gives two kinds of designs of the experimental test results, according to testing conclusions, proposed a compromise that can expand the database table design suggestions.
