Abstract
The generation multiple Mie theory (GMMT) is introduced to investigate the scattering characteristic of a soot aggregation particles randomly distributed. Computes of the Muller matrix elements are carried out at two wavelengths (0.6328μm and 1.06μm). Some selected results are given by the equivalent medium method (EMM) and compared the results given by GMMT. The results are expected to provide useful insights into the formation mechanism and structural characteristics of randomly distributed cluster agglomerates.
