  • Abstract
Energy-dissipated brace is a kind of valid and economic path to control vibration-suppressing effectiveness on high-rise building. In this paper, element analysis software SAP2000 is used to analysize a 28-storey irregular construction with two different energy-dissipated braces-viscidity damper and metal yield damper. According to the modal analyses and the nonlinear time-history analysis, the effection on the earthquake resistance performance of two structures with different energy-dissipated braces is studied. In the end, some proposals were suggested for correlation investigation.
