Abstract
In the past, submarine counter-detection probability by threat surface ship sonar was simply managed, that did not accord with fact. An improved algorithm of submarine counter-detection probability, which included some influencing factors have not been considered in traditional model, is given in this paper. Different approaches to submarine counter-detection probability in two different conditions-broadband and narrowband noise, were studied separately. The relation between submarine counter-detection probability and counter-detection range was studied by simulation. It provides a new reference for submarine warfare research.
