Abstract
The USAF Versatile Automated Depot Test Station (VDATS) is the target platform for hundreds of ATLAS test programs presently supported on obsolete test systems. The ATLAS test language is very commonly used throughout the Department of Defense (DOD) in legacy test programs. National Instruments LabWindows/CVI, with its ANSI C programming language, has become a standard test program language in most commercial sectors. The VDATS program has selected LabWindows/CVI as a standard test language. Because of this, there is a requirement to rehost older ATLAS test programs from obsolete testers into LabWindows/CVI on the VDATS. This paper presents a code translator that was developed to translate 3 implementations of ATLAS (IEEE 716-1982, IFTE, OS390) to LabWindows/CVI.
