Abstract
Population explosion is the most serious problem on our planet, according to the Union of Concerned Scientist and the Nobel Prize Group. Across the USA and around the world, cities are dying from traffic clog and parking problems. Since Portland, Oregon, has one of the most successful transit systems in the United States, it is appropriate for this paper. The IEEE has a vital role in the technology for the effective integration of mass transit and electric vehicles as an answer to these problems
