Abstract
A truncated chip-rate DS-CDMA system is presented for the microcellular CDMA wireless communications. Under transmission asynchronism and multipath fading, it shows that the CDMA multiuser detection is equivalent to a simple constant linear signal separation problem. As such, the near-far resistant asynchronous CDMA multiuser detection can be implemented by current blind signal separation techniques or by using training signals. In either case, the computation complexity is less than the current proposed methods.
