Abstract
This paper extends the classical problem of electromagnetic scattering of spherical conductors to the case of two coalescing spheres of different size. The incident field is a linearly polarized plane wave with arbitrary polarization angle γ and angle of incidence α. The scattered field is given in terms of multipole fields scattered from each sphere
