  • Abstract
The results are presented of numerical modeling of positive streamer dynamics in liquid Ar and Xe. It is shown that as in gases, the character of streamer propagation depends on the value of the applied electric field. In contrast to gases, for streamers in liquids an essential role is revealed of the electron-ion recombination. On the base of analytical streamer theory estimates are obtained for parameters of streamers in liquids
