  • Abstract
    A memoryless precoder is designed for a differential system employing orthogonal space-time block codes (OSTBC) with M-PSK constellation for multiple-input multiple- output channels exhibiting arbitrary Rayleigh correlation. The proposed precoder design criterion differs from the previous works, which concentrate over the transmit correlation only by: 1) The precoder is designed to minimize the symbol error rate (SER) as a function of the channel correlation coefficients, which are fed back to the transmitter. 2) The correlation is arbitrary and it includes Kronecker correlation model as special case.
