Abstract
On the basis of analyzing object-relational data model and referencing OpenGIS criterion, the author in this paper, through reference SQL2, uses middle-layer for media, and directed against data manipulation and user interface, puts forward a realizable system structure for data manipulation language. Inserted spatial data operation into the middle of GIS application and RDBMS by middle-layer realizes that spatial data manipulation can be used to express by the form of SQL.
