Abstract
By walking through a case study, this paper presents the issues and challenges that the ILOG documentation team faced when making the decision to convert their customer documentation from paper to online. The first part focuses on the challenges and the actual conversion from paper to online, while the second part analyzes how this transition changed the work habits of the documentation team and radically modified the profile of the technical communicators
