Abstract
Overcomplete frame expansions have been introduced recently as a signal representation that is resilient to erasures in wireless channels. We characterize a class of frames for error correction in such channels. In particular, the frames associated with low-pass DFT, DCT and DST codes, which belong to this class, are compared in terms of the error correction efficiency.
