  • Abstract
    Fractional order models in One Non-integer Order Plus Time Delay (NIOPTD-I) template have been used for time domain online and offline system identification. A newly proposed Nyquist based model reduction technique has been used for reduced parameter modeling of the identified models. The comparative accuracies of the test plants in the online and offline identification and reduced parameter modeling are also reported along with credible simulation studies.
