Abstract
Sedentary work is a common work style in modern society. Many studies show that sitting for a long time may diminish physical activity level and cause muscle pain, low back pain or even cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure. To improve the muscle strength of sedentary people, the study developed a training exercise for core muscles and lower limb muscles. Infrared sensors and electromyography (EMG) extracting circuit were used to record the subjects´ EMG. Meanwhile, Median Frequency (MDF) and muscle Electromyographic Activity (EA) were applied to analyze the fatigue status of muscles and prevent muscle damage caused by excessive exercise.
