Abstract
Urban renewal refers to the necessary and planned reconstruction of city areas which have not match the way of modern city life. It sets a good foundation for the prosperity of city, while at the same time have a great impact on urban green space represented by parks. The paper summarizes the challenges and problems the park environment meet during urban renewal, taking Wuhan as an example. It aims at proposing constructive suggestions, drawing attention to the conflict between urban renewal and park environment, and finally finding a better way in practice to construct modern sustainable-development life space.
