  • Abstract
    The measuring principle of laser beam quality analyzer was introduced and described in detail in the paper, which also discussed the step motor control system´s action in the system. It was shown how to choose the type of motor according to the application circumstance and parameters. In order to make sure the position of sampling points for the charge couple device, the paper used AVR single-chip microcomputer whose model number is Mega16L as the central processing unit, chose high rotation torque step motor whose model number is 42BYG1.8 produced by the company called AKS as executive body to control the ball screw to make one-dimension rectilinear motion. Experiments showed that the system´s locating precision satisfied the testing demand; the error caused by the step motor was less than 0.03%. System designed by the paper had characteristics such as smooth running and high reliability.
