Abstract
The teaching and learning processes carried out daily in classrooms is crucial as well as challenge to accomplish the task of Excellent Engineers Training Program proposed by CME. In accordance with the overall requirements of the Program, the paper analyzes the effect of active and cooperative learning methodologies implemented in computer engineering educational courses of the department of Computer Science and Technology at China Jiliang University. Results show the applied approach can help students develop creativity, innovation and other important engineering experience. It allows students to get a better understanding of difficult concepts and let them participate actively the learning, which motivate students to develop the professional qualities required in the computer engineering.
