  • Abstract
    As the development of environmental impact assessment in China and other countries in the world, more and more people noticed the significance of post evaluation of environmental impact assessment. It is recognized that post evaluation of environmental impact assessment should be an indispensible component of the environmental impact assessment system. This paper focuses on a systematic study on post evaluation of environmental impact assessment for highway construction. Based on a comprehensive literature review, we explored how to satisfy the need of system construction on post evaluation of environmental impact assessment, and constructed a framework of post evaluation of environment impact assessment system for highway construction using tools of remote sensing (RS) and geographic information system (GIS).
