Abstract
Dye-sensitized solar cell is expected as a novel type photovoltaic device which can be composed by using a plastic substrate. To obtain the plastic solar cell, sol-gel method was utilized because it is suitable to low-temperature fabrication. The equivalent circuit analysis was useful to evaluate internal electrical characteristics and effects of treatments. Mixing of Ti-precursor sol led to a decrease in internal series resistance of dye-sensitized solar cell from 276 Omega to 24.8 Omega The cell fabricated at 473 K showed higher efficiency of 2.36% by the mixing. TiBu4 treatment is effective not only in a decrease in internal series resistance but also in an increase in shunt resistance. By the treatment, the cell fabricated at 423 K kept higher efficiency of 2.15% even when a plastic substrate was used.
