  • Abstract
    RFID has been applied in many industries, especially in logistics. Usually, RFID is used as an identification that replaces barcode or combined with barcode. RFID has many advantages, for example, it can be read fast and improves the efficiency of data gathering. This paper introduces a RFID application system in warehouse management that is used to identify cargo when inbound and outbound. Based on Java language, this paper develops low level communication functions, which can implement the communication between monitoring computer and RFID reader. The cargo inbound and outbound business procedures are designed to show the RFID application in logistics warehouse operation.
