  • Abstract
    Streaming media delivery services over the Internet have been rapidly spread. Growth of these traffic causes serious problems in terms of quality degradation of service in a near future. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a streaming media caching scheme on advanced relay nodes placed inside networks in order to achieve efficient streaming media delivery. The proposed scheme can alleviate traffic congestion on the networks and overload on the streaming servers. Furthermore, we show a potential and effectiveness of the proposed scheme through simulation evaluations.
