  • Abstract
The paper first, according to the manufacturing and geometric parameters of a tube, presents a tube-walled thickness calculation method and then, combining a tube-walled element calculation model and transfer matrix method, presents an analysis method of a tube under general loadings. The analysis method combined with the tube-walled thickness calculation method is coded in a calculation program which could draw out the relationship of load and displacement of a tube under general loading as long as the manufacturing parameters and boundary conditions of the tube are given. The tube-walled thickness calculation method and the analysis method of a tube under general loadings were used for calculating some carbon epoxy filament wound tubes. The theoretical calculation results had good agreements with the experimental ones.
