  • Abstract
    In this paper a novel technique for monitoring chemicals and biochemicals using side polished fiber is presented. The experiment setup for monitoring the biochemical is described. The spectrum of sugar solution and ethylenediamine at different concentration is measured. The sensitivity and repeatability of side polished fiber for biochemical sensing is tested and results are presented.
