Abstract
This paper describes a numerical study on the combustion characteristics of homogeneous charge compression ignition engines for methyl decanoate. The HCCI Engine module in CHEMKIN-IV soft was used to simulate combustion processes and analyze the influence of various parameters on wide operates range. A modified reduced methyl decanoate mechanism was used to induce important reaction formulas combining with intermediate product generation process.
