Abstract
In this paper, we evaluate the self-assembly status and optical properties of gold nanoparticles by ellipsometry. The density of gold particles was increased with increasing the self-assembly duration. We also found the 10 nm-diameter gold particles were uniformly spread on the substrate. Results implied that we can monitor the self-assembly processes by measuring the ellipsometric parameters. Detailed analysis and results are reported in the conference.
