Abstract
Aiming to the ship-shore date communication problem which has been paid close attention to in shipping community, this paper presents the common modern ship-shore date communication technology and its characteristics, and discusses the key technology of realizing the communication. Specific to the basic requirements of the shipping administration departments about shipping safety supervision, scheduling management and marine dynamic monitoring, the solutions to modern ship-to shore data communication are studied. This paper also focus on the various factors that should be consider when making ship shore data communication project, and provides the foundation of the choosing and designing of the ship-shore data communication project.
