  • Abstract
In China, almost every metropolitan has one or even more Logistics Parks planned. Unfortunately most of built Logistic Parks are not very well in revenue and operation. In order to visually present the activities and functions of Logistics Park, a graphical and structured modeling method, IDEFO is chosen, for it can be used to demonstrate the logistics processes, activities and the actors. The Logistics Park function is broken down into four sub-functions: general logistics activities, the fourth party logistics services, related social services and merchandise exhibition & wholesaling. The main function, general logistics activities, is further decomposed in detail by creating five lower sub-level diagrams. These diagrams can be used to understand the attributes of Logistics Park, to design the functions and to develop the management information platform of Logistics Park. And they are helpful to improve the operational management and service performance of Logistics Park.
