Abstract
A novel memory efficient formulation of the finite difference time domain (FDTD) is used to predict the indoor wireless channel for a residence. Measurements were conducted to validate the results obtained from the time domain formulation. The good agreement between measured and predicted results validates the use of the proposed technique. A detailed statistical analysis based on measured and simulated data is presented to fully characterize the channel
