Abstract
Summary form only given. Both the existing and new satellite communications segments are used in the proposed program of the information satellite system establishment for the financial industry organizations. Space segment development is oriented to capacity increase, multi-access, and supports both VSAT networks and main wideband channels. The ground switching system is based on special radiocommunication, radiorelay and optical-fiber communications lines and locking elements, and is development for switching computers and local computer networks. Geostationary satellites and low-earth orbit satellite systems are introduced into the data system combinations. These systems are: Potok-1 (GEO), Kupon (GEO), Courier (LEO). At the present time the work to integrate the indicated systems with each other and with other systems for providing the possibility of interconnecting users of these systems is being carried out
