Abstract
Mechanical properties of erythrocytes under diabetic and some other conditions were measured by using transparent micro-channel flow system and atomic force microscope (AFM). Deformability and viscoelasticity of erythrocytes were well correlated both in the healthy control and diabetes mellitus in which the hardness of erythrocytes may affect on the growth of microangiopathy
