  • Abstract
    The risk of sudden death significantly increases if such life-threatening cardiovascular complications as a stroke, myocardial infarction, cardiac rhythm disturbances, and neuropathy exist. Convincing data about correlation between sudden death, including death during sleep, with arterial hypertension were obtained during last years. Investigated data shows that methods of modern polysomnography don´t allow to control patient condition, as well as number of other methods used today, for example, registration of signal-average ECG. Heart rate variability was proposed as the method for revealing of sudden death during sleep predictors, which is one of the most useful methods of non-invasive control of humoral and vegetative nervous regulation in the modern clinic.
