  • Abstract
    Setting up of any indoor localization system involves many difficulties. This paper proposes a Simple, Low cost & Small sized system for indoor localization. The basic processing elements of this system constitute RSSI & LQI (symbol error rate). An ISM band compliant low cost cc2500 zigbee module capable of outputting digital RSSI and LQI values is used for the establishment of wireless sensor network. Used process is a filtering method coupled with implementation of path loss algorithm on Matlab´11 platform. MMSE (minimum mean square estimation) algorithm is implemented for computing optimal system parameters. Ultimately a GUI displays the tracked elements.
