Abstract
Accurate Automation Corporation (AAC) has built a waverider shaped subsonic aircraft under the LoFLYTETM program, which is presently being flight tested at Edwards AFB. Upon completion of this initial series of flight tests, designed to check out the aircraft and characterize its aerodynamics, LoFLYTETM will be used as a testbed for a neural flight control system employing variants of AAC´s neural adaptive controller for both the inner loop and actuator control systems. In addition, the LoFLYTETM aircraft is being used to understand the low speed characteristics of a hypersonic shape and to demonstrate several innovative flight control technologies: a fly-by-light system, a neural air data sensor, a neural network engine controller, among others
