  • Abstract
Canada´s first remote sensing satellite, RADARSAT I, took two sets of twelve SAR images on 19-20 November 1997 and 6-7 January 1998, expressly for calibration of attitude determination system. For the first time in the operation of RADARSAT, an all around the orbit yaw and pitch profile was established from the Doppler centroid of these twelve SAR images. This paper details the inherent error margins on such attitude measurements
