Abstract
We present the results of the first reported microwave nanotube sensor with vertically aligned multiwalled nanotube arrays as the sensing material. The sensitivity is found to be -2.5 KHz/ppm for ammonia concentrations less than 1000 ppm. The frequency shift of the nanotube array resonator is in the opposite direction of that of previous experiments using randomly aligned nanotubes, and this difference is discussed
